Description
Description Bawdsey Cliffs are of great geological interest and potential for studies of non glacial Pleistocene environments. The cliffs provide over 2km of section in the Butleyan division of the Early Pleistocene Red Crag. The site constitutes by far the largest available exposure of the Red Crag and is rich in marine Mollusca.
