Description
Description A remnant of the pre-Devensian raised beach platform occurs on Ynys Gwylan Fawr. The islets support an important breeding population of about 800 pairs of puffin, mainly on Ynys Gwylan Fawr, and small numbers of razorbill, guillemot and cormorant. The main floristic species are tree mallow Malva arborea and orache Atriplex sp.. The islands are frequented by grey seals.
