Description
Sule Stack Sule Stack Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) is a bare rock stack situated 8.5 kilometres (km) south-west of Sule Skerry and 66 km west of Brough Head, which is in the north-west of the Orkney Mainland. It supports a nationally important breeding colony of gannets. This is Orkney’s largest gannet colony, contributing to about 2% of the UK population.
