Description
Mill Loch Mill Loch SSSI is situated on the island of Eday. The site includes a 10 ha freshwater loch surrounded by mosses and taller vegetation. The rest of the site is a mosaic of moorland vegetation. This loch is of national importance for breeding red-throated diver supporting one of the densest breeding concentrations in the British Isles.
