Description

Area,1.7 hectares Description Enderby Warren Quarry is a nationally important geological site. It is the only British locality where it can be demonstrated that the palygorskite, found here at, below and above the unconformity of the Croft microtonalite and the superjacent Triassic sediments, originated through the action of the post Triassic groundwaters on the underlying beds.
