Description
Area, 0.11 ha. 0.29 ac. Description This small area of undeveloped ground supports a large wild population of field southernwood Artemisia campestris. This is one of only two sites in Suffolk for this plant and it is believed to be the largest remaining wild population of this nationally rare plant. The survival of Artemisia on this site has been due to its recent history of piecemeal soil disturbance.
