Description

Description A nationally important mineralogical site for the occurrence of nodules of the white clay mineral metahalloysite which are found within the sand deposits which occur as pocket deposits within depressions in the limestone surface. The metahalloysite nodules are often found associated with manganese minerals known as 'wad'.
