Description

Area, 2.5 ha. 6.2 ac. Description This locality shows a gradational contact between Old Red Sandstone and a 15 metres thickness of Lower Limestone Shales. The latter comprises grey shales with beds of sandstone and limestone, representing the transgressive start up stage of the carbonate ramp sedimentation during the early Courceyan.
