Description

Description The site is selected as an example of unimproved neutral grassland containing an outstanding abundance of wild daffodil Narcissus pseudonarcissus. Daffodil meadows of this type were once widespread throughout the Dymock, Newent area of Gloucestershire, but due to agricultural changes in recent years are now restricted to comparatively few sites.
