Description

Area, 0.065 ha. 0.16 ac. Description The site comprises part of the former stable block of Brockley Hall and its immediate environs. The roof void of this building is used as a summer breeding roost by a substantial colony of greater horseshoe bats Rhinolophus ferrumequinum a nationally rare and endangered species. All bats are protected under Part 1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 as amended.
